NEOWISE CORP is an ongoing website project I designed as a showcase for my music under the moniker Rektagon as well as exploration of visual themes relating to early computing, los-res graphic design, y2k, geocites, etc.
The overall theme of the project explores the concepts of over-corporatization and consumerism by imaging a possible future that allows the existence of a company who’s sole purpose is the marketing and selling of non-tangible spiritual and emotional wares.
Unifying these two themes, I hope for NEOWISE to feel like stumbling upon a long-defunct corner or the net where-in, by some stroke of luck or fate, the host server has continued to be operational and accessible long after the site’s creators abandoned the project (or our universe).
I hope to continue to update the site as I release more music (and come up with more fun ideas). Happy exploring.
